Ingredients

  • Pop corn 2 cup(popped)
  • Brown sugar 1 cup
  • Light corn syrup ¼ cup
  • Butter ½ cup
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Baking soda ½ tsp
  • Vanilla essence ½ tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°.
  2. Combine sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt in pan and bring to a boil.
  3. After 4-5 minutes of boiling, remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla essence.
  4. Carefully pour mixture over popcorn, which is on baking/aluminium sheets and cook for about one hour.
  5. Let cool completely before storing the finished homemade caramel popcorn in an airtight container for fresh keeping.
